LAST DAY IN OHIO
WELL THE WEATHER HAS BEEN VERY HOT. WE HAVE TAKEN A LOT OF LONG WALKS AROUND A LAKE. THE LAKE IS A PART OF THE OHIO CONSERVANCY. THE LAKE WAS VERY GREEN, I THOUGHT IT WAS GRASS,I WANTED TO GO AND ROLL AROUND IN IT, BUT MOM KNEW AND SHE STOPPED ME RIGHT AWAY. I COULD HAVE DROWNED, JUST LIKE AT WINNIKINEE PARK. WE HAVE BEEN WALKING EVERY DAY DOWN A RAIL-TRAIL. TODAY IS OUR LAST DAY IN OHIO SO WE WENT ON THE WARBASH-CANNONBALL RAIL TRAIL. WE GO EARLY IN THE MORNING,BEFORE THE HEAT. IT WAS GREAT. WE SAW LOTS OF CURRENTS, BLACKBERRIES,PEACH TREES SOY BEAN FIELDS. MOM AND DAD WERE VERY TIRED. THEY SAID WE WALKED 5 MILES. THE TRAIL GOES FOR 63 MILES. WE EARNED OUR REWARD WE STOPPED AT,"GENERALS ICE CREAM STAND" THEY GOT A DOGGIE SUNDAY FOR ME. NICE COLD DOGGIE ICE CREAM WITH A COOKIE-IT WAS WORTH THE ENERGY.

JULY 4TH A DAY TO REMEMBER
WELL I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO WRITE ANYTHING BECAUSE WE DID NOT HAVE ANY WEB STUFF. THE THINGS I HAVE SEEN TRAVELING. THERE WERE BIG WIND STORMS, IT MADE THE WHOLE HOUSE ON WHEELS SHAKE. IT DID NOT SEEM TO BOTHER MOM SO I WAS NOT SCARED. THEN THE RAIN, I DID NOT KNOW IF MOM WAS RIGHT WHEN SHE SAID," WE WERE GOING TO FLOAT AWAY".
WHEN WE LEFT TORENTO I NEVER SAW SO MANY TREES LYING DOWN ON THE GROUND. WE HAD TO WAIT WHILE SOME MEN TOOK THE TREE IN THE ROAD AWAY IN PIECES. THEN WE FINALLY GOT TO THE CAMPGROUND AND IT DID NOT HAVE ANY ELECTRICITY(WHAT EVER THAT WAS). WE HAD TO DRIVE ANOTHER LONG WAY BEFORE WE GOT TO ANOTHER PLACE. IT WAS IN A PLACE CALLED MANSFIELD. I COULD SEE HOW THEY CALLED IT THAT. THERE WERE LOTS AND LOTS OF WHAT MOM CALLED CORN AND BOYS(OR DID SHE SAY SOY) BEANS. I LIKED IT THERE. THERE WAS A DOG PARK-I MET LOTS OF NEW FRIENDS. I WOULD GO FOR LOTS OF WALKS AND CHASE RABBITS. IT REMINDED ME OF THE OLD DAYS, BEFORE I GOT RETIRED. THEY WERE NICE BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY OF THAT WI STUFF SO I COULDN'T WRITE THINGS DOWN.
THEN IT HAPPENED. WE WERE GOING TO THE NEXT PLACE-WHITEHOUSE. MOM WAS DRIVING AND BANG. THEY PULLED OVER WITH THIS RED FACED NICE OLD MAN. HE WAS SAYING BAD WORDS. HE WAS SAYING THAT MY MOM HIT HIM. THEN THE MAN IN THE CAR WITH THE BLINKING LIGHTS CAME. MOM TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING. SHE HAD THEM ALL LAUGHING WHEN SHE TOLD THE MAN IN THE BLUE THAT ALL OF HER MAIL WENT TO THIS PLACE CALLED TEXAS BUT SHE HAD NEVER BEEN THERE.
IT IS SO HOT. MOM GAVE ME SOME DOGGIE ICE CREAM TODAY. SHE IS SUCH A GOOD MOM. DAD SAYS SHE IS A BAD DRIVER, BUT I THINK SHE IS JUST FINE.
